★★★★★

"I thought I was interview-ready because I had completed over 30 practice cases. Florian's diagnostic quickly showed me that my analytical and conceptual thinking skills were not where they needed to be. The scorecard gave me a clear improvement plan and helped me focus on the right things."

— Sarah M.

★★★★★

"The feedback was incredibly specific and actionable. Instead of guessing what I needed to improve, I left the session with a clear roadmap and much more confidence going into my interviews. The diagnostic alone was worth more than weeks of unguided practice."

— Julian S.

★★★★★

"I only had two weeks until my McKinsey interview and had no idea whether I was actually ready. The diagnostic gave me a realistic assessment of where I stood and exactly what I needed to improve. I passed my first round and ultimately got the offer with Florian's help."

— Sara A.

★★★★★

"After implementing the improvement plan from my diagnostic, I went on to receive offers from Bain and Oliver Wyman. The coaching helped me develop a much more structured approach to solving cases and communicating my thinking."

— Yazeed A.

★★★★★

"After being rejected in two consulting interviews, I started to question whether consulting was the right path for me. The diagnostic helped me identify weaknesses I had overlooked and gave me a clear plan to address them. A few months later, I secured a consulting offer from Simon-Kucher."

— Simon P.

★★★★★

"I was preparing for interviews with BCG and Roland Berger rather than McKinsey. The diagnostic was still incredibly relevant because it focused on the core skills every consulting firm looks for. The feedback helped me improve quickly and approach my interviews with much greater confidence. I ended up getting offers from both."

— Marta P.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are you offering this for free?

Because we believe candidates should experience the quality of our coaching before deciding whether to invest further.

The diagnostic session allows us to assess your current level, identify the specific skill gaps holding you back, and show you exactly what you would need to improve to meet the McKinsey interview bar.

Most candidates choose to continue working with us afterwards because they find the feedback valuable and appreciate having a clear improvement plan. However, there is absolutely no obligation to do so. We simply believe that the best way to demonstrate the value of our coaching is to let you experience it firsthand before making any decision.

What happens during the diagnostic?

During the diagnostic, you'll complete a real McKinsey first-round case from last year.

Before we begin, we'll walk you through the evaluation criteria used to assess your performance so you know exactly what we will be looking for throughout the case before you give your answers.

The case is then completed question by question. After each question, you'll receive detailed feedback on what you did well, where you fell short of the McKinsey bar, and how your answer compares to a "meet the bar" sample response. You'll also have the opportunity to assess your own performance against the evaluation criteria before receiving our feedback.

At the end of the session, you'll receive an overall assessment of your performance, including whether your interview would likely have met the standard required to progress to the next round. We'll discuss your key strengths, your most important areas for improvement, and the specific steps you can take to improve your chances of receiving an offer.

You'll also receive a written scorecard and personalized improvement plan, along with recommendations for free and paid resources that are most relevant to your current level.

Does this only help for McKinsey interviews or can you also help with other consulting firms?

Yes. While the diagnostic uses a real McKinsey case and McKinsey's evaluation criteria, the skills being assessed are relevant across virtually all top consulting firms.

The ability to structure complex problems, perform quantitative analysis, generate business insights, communicate clearly, and synthesize recommendations is critical whether you're interviewing with McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Kearney, Strategy&, the strategy practices of the Big 4, and many others.

In recent years, several leading consulting firms have also moved toward interview formats that more closely resemble McKinsey's interviewer-led approach, making this style of preparation increasingly relevant beyond McKinsey itself.

Over 100 candidates have used our coaching program to secure consulting offers across MBB, Tier 2 and Big 4 firms. If you're preparing for a consulting interview, the diagnostic will provide valuable insights regardless of which firm you're targeting.

How closely does the diagnostic reflect a real McKinsey interview?

It's the same interview process, with the added benefit of detailed feedback.

The diagnostic uses a real McKinsey first-round case from last year and the same evaluation criteria used to assess candidate performance.

The only differences are that we will reveal the evaluation criteria before the interview begins and provide detailed feedback after each section of the case. This allows you to see exactly how your performance compares to the McKinsey bar and what you would need to improve to reach it.

What happens after the session?

At the end of the session, you'll receive a final assessment of your performance, including your key strengths, biggest improvement areas, and whether your performance would likely have met the bar required to progress to the next round.

We'll also discuss the free and paid resources that are most relevant to your current level so that you leave with a clear understanding of what to focus on next.

Following the session, you'll receive a written scorecard and personalized improvement plan via email.

If you're interested, we'll also be happy to explain how our 2-6 week coaching program could help you address the specific weaknesses identified during the diagnostic. However, there is absolutely no obligation to continue working with us.

Is there any obligation to purchase coaching afterwards?

No.
